On 11th February the 12th Best Brands Gala Award Show took place at the Bayerischer Hof Hotel in Munich, Germany.
Spark suggested, booked and briefed former world number one tennis player Boris Becker for this prestigious event where he held a keynote talk with presenter of the Best Brands show Steven Gaetjen.
Boris Becker famously won Wimbledon in 1985 at the age of only 17 which still makes him the youngest winner ever of the world’s most prestigious tennis competition. He also won 6 Grand Slams, Olympic Gold, 3 ATP Masters World Tour Finals, WCT Final and one Grand Slam Cup.
Boris Becker currently coaches successfully world number 1 tennis player Novak Djokovic, who won the Australian open early February 2015.
In the keynote talk Boris Becker talked about the psychology of success and how he has been able to make a very successful player like Djokovic even more successful. Apart from discipline it is humility that a player needs to possess i.e. the ability to listen to feedback and a clear perspective and respect for one’s place in context.
Boris Becker attended the red carpet and met selected VIPs after the award show.
