Daniel Domscheit-Berg, former spokesperson of Wikileaks, “the world’s most dangerous website”, held a speech at the the annual meeting of Graphax in Zurich, Switzerland.
Domscheit-Berg’s speech “The Digital Revolution” captivated his audience by sharing a view of risks and opportunities in the digital world and by highlighting the power that derives from many well-known and trusted online brands.
Patrizia Caruselli, Managing Director of Spark Zurich says: “His speech was an eye opener in many ways. We take so many things for granted when using the internet but we should rather start to re-evaluate most of our online actions. Daniel Domscheit-Berg has made me reconsider my social media behaviour for sure.”
He also shared stories from his time at Wikileaks with Julian Assange. His book ‘Inside Wikileaks: the most dangerous website in the world’ was recently turned into a movie called “Inside Wikileaks” starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Daniel Brühl.
Once part of a team that was one of the world’s most wanted, he now uses his knowledge to teach and inspire younger minds as well as to develop open communication platforms.
Sonja Nobs, Head of Marketing at Graphax AG said: “Spark helped me to choose the right speaker to complete our rather technical oriented event. The support and the overall assistance was outstanding. Thank you. We had a very successful event and a great press coverage about it.”
All guests received a personally signed copy of his book “Inside Wikileaks: the most dangerous website in the world” at the end of the event.
Spark was in charge of speaker research, negotiations & contracts, coordinating interviews in the lead up and on the day of the event and support at the event itself.
