The 2020 Best Brands awards gala was held on February 19th at the prestigious Bayerischer Hof Hotel in Munich, Germany. The theme of the event was ‘sustainability’.

Spark provided the keynote speaker and entertainment act for the award show.

Dr. Jane Goodall, the world famous primatologist and anthropologist, held the keynote speech with the topic ‘Reasons for Hope’ where she touched upon many issues facing humankind including climate change and the need for corporations to act responsibly. It was a very moving speech and the assembled audience gave her a standing ovation.

The entertainment act was Swedish indie band Mando Diao who performed an incredible set to close the awards ceremony before the invited guests attended the champagne reception.

Both Dr. Jane Goodall and Mando Diao gave scheduled interviews before the event, attended a VIP meet and greet and the red carpet.

Spark researched suitable candidates for the keynote and entertainment act and secured both Dr. Jane Goodall and Mando Diao by negotiating their attendance including fees, travel expenses and agreements. On the day Spark made sure that everything went smoothly and according to the agreed schedule.
