Spark was tasked to negotiate the master and publishing rights for a TV and online ad for one of Germany’s biggest supermarket chains called PENNY.

The song featured in the ad is Henry Valentino’s hit song ‘Im Wagen Vor Mir’ and is essential to the storyline. It’s played in the background of the car stereo and sung aloud by the actor of the ad. The humorous ad emphasis the message that a PENNY supermarket is always nearby wherever you live with over 2000 retail locations in Germany alone.

Spark also took care of contractual negotiations and GEMA.
