Music Rights Negotiations for Supermassive Games

The British award winning video game developer Supermassive Games asked Spark to negotiate the music rights for their multi-player game THE QUARRY.

The game is a 2022 interactive drama horror video game published by 2K. Players assume control of nine teenage counsellors who must survive their last night at Hackett’s Quarry summer camp amongst supernatural creatures and violent locals. Players make many choices throughout the game which may significantly impact character development, relationships, the story’s plot and its ending. All nine playable characters may survive or die, depending on the player’s decisions. Inspired by teen slasher and monster films such as Friday the 13th and The Thing, the game features a large ensemble cast including  David Arquette, Ted Raimi, Ariel Winter, Siobhan Williams and Justice Smith. https://quarrygame.2k.com

Original music used in the game includes Ariana Grande – Moonlight, Siobhan Williams – Everything, The Monkees – Daydream Believer, Patience & Prudence – Witchcraft, Jack in Water – Wise Up, Alma Coogan – Fly Me To The Moon and Cameo Adele – Wolf Boy.

Spark negotiated the use, fees and agreements on behalf of Supermassive Games.
