EF Education First is the biggest operator of language course holidays for teenagers (14-19 yrs) in the world. Besides learning a language, EF’s focus is also on the teenagers’ personal development and self confidence and the exchange with others from different cultures. In destinations such as the UK thousands of teenagers from over 100 countries spend their summers learning English.
Due to the target group, EF is very active via social media. In early 2015 EF launched an international video blog (Vlog) on the EF YouTube channel where teenagers can find and subscribe to Vlogs about experiences with learning a foreign languages.
EF are now inviting well known personalities relevant to the demographic to do a 2-3 minute ‘EF Guest Vlog’.
Spark supports EF in all aspects of finding suitable personalities. The Vamps, Hunter Hayes and Jimmy Wales (founder of Wikipedia) are some of the personalities that have done the EF Guest Vlog.
EF has also secured the help of some of the biggest teenage Vloggers from various European countries to do their first English language vlog for EF.
EF promotes the EF Guest Vlogs via over 110 social media channels, direct emailing, the MyEF network and in 450 EF language schools to reach several million teenagers to emphasise the importance of learning another language.
In exchange the music artist or personality can of course promote their new single, album or tour. Information about that is included at the end of each Vlog.
