LIDL asked Spark to negotiate the participation of German presenter and TV personality Guenther Jauch in a very ground breaking campaign.
It’s all about the ‘Kreislaufflasche’ which means ‘circulation bottle’. It’s about introducing plastic bottles at LIDL that have the least impact on our planet and can be recycled again and again.
The bottles are made from recycled plastic and are 50 times lighter than glas and therefore save CO 2 for transport. LIDL customer pay a deposit for each bottle bought which is refunded when the empty bottles are returned. Bottles are then crushed for space saving purposes, sorted, washed and then reused. 98.5% of all PET plastic bottles are returned by customers.
Guenther Jauch appears again and again in statistic as one of the most trusted and credible celebrities in Germany. For this campaign he investigates why the LIDL system is one of the most ecological systems ever. The video features his unmistakable investigative style and sense of humour.
Spark approached Guenther Jauch and negotiated his participation including fees and agreement on behalf of LIDL Germany.
